Before VWC: Competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, volleyball, soccer, and tennis at Thomas Dale High School… Helped guide the cross country team to a 7-0 record, a Central District championship and sixth place finish at the Central Region meet as a senior… Indoor track placed second at the district meet and outdoor track finished 6-1 and placed second at the district meet, both his senior season… Posted a time of 10:47.25 to place fourth in the 32000 meter run in 2012 outdoor Central District meet… All-district honoree in the 1600 meter indoor and 3200 outdoor event… Posted a time of 19:43.75 in the 5K Central Region cross country championship meet as a senior.
