Personal

  • Daughter of Suzanne and Mark Kelly; dad attended Frederick Coummunity College, mom attended Mount Saint Mary's University
  • Has three siblings: Angela, who attended the University of Maryland and the University of Souther Mississippi, Timothy, who attended Frostburg State University and Hood College, and Amanda, who attended McDaniel College
  • Enjoys all types of music, except rock, and enjoys spending vacation time anywhere tropical
  • Favorites include the book "My Sisters Keeper," the movie "Pitch Perfect," and the TV series "Dance Moms" and "Grey'Anatomy"
  • A fan of volleyball great Kerri Walsh, football Washington Redskins, and actress Jennifer Aniston
  • Self-description in 10 words or less: "loyal, helpful, considerate, loving, pensive, optimistic, passionate, joyous, energetic, youthful"
  • My favorite aspect of being an athlete is: "to be a part of a team where each player supports and encourages each other to give their very best. Once we achieve that, everything falls into place and the team becomes much stronger and that is when you love the game the most"
  • The part of my game I've improved the most is: "learning more about the game and having a higher volleyball IQ"
  • My personal athletic goal at VWC is: "to do my very best in my position and help my teammates to have a successful season"
  • If I could spend one day with a famous person from any time period it would be: "Ellen Pompeo. Since the beginning of Grey's Anatomy I have always been a huge fan of hers. So, I would really love to spend a day with her. I love her character and watching behind the scenes footage on the season's DVDs. She seems to be really down-to-earth and funny, a lot like her character Meredith"
  • People might be surprised to know: "my boss is a famous "Top Chef." He is currently on television and competing in "Top Chef Masters!"
  • It's the year 2030 and: "I'm hopefully married to the love of my life, with at least three kids, and teaching kindergartners"
  • The most important advice I've received is: "Love one another" -- my grandmother. Although it is a saying in the Bible, my grandma always thought it was important for her family to understand it. In each of her 10 children's households there is a small sight that expresses the quote. It is the best advice that everyone in the family tries to honor"
