• Daughter of Marcine and James Spencer, Jr.; parents attended Chowan University, Virginia Union University, and Thomas Nelson College
• Has one brother, James Spencer III, a student at Liberty University

• Enjoys rhythm and blues and Gospel music, playing tennis, and reading
• Favorites include the novel "The Great Gatsby" and the movie "Love and Basketball"
