Senior (2017): Appeared in a team-leading 22 games as the Virginia Wesleyan closer… Finished the year with a 2-4 record and a 1.29 ERA to go with seven saves… Third on the VWU career leaderboard with 71 career appearances… Also ranks second on the career leaderboard with 13 saves… Seven saves on the season were second-most in the ODAC… Had two multi-inning saves… Struck out three in two scoreless innings to earn the save against Hampden-Sydney on April 5.
Junior (2016): Appeared in 18 games, throwing 18.1 innings as the primary closer for the Marlin pitching staff… Recorded three saves while holding opposing hitters to a .293 batting average… Had a 2.95 ERA with 10 strikeouts on the year including two in a game against Piedmont on February 20... Tallied saves against ODAC competitors Guilford and Lynchburg.
Sophomore (2015): Led the Marlins with 22 appearances, all in relief… Found a niche as the go-to reliever in the Marlin bullpen… Led VWC with three saves while posting a 3-1 record… All three saves came in the ODAC tournament where he threw in five of the Marlins’ six games, allowing just two runs in 6 2/3 innings… Worked 2 2/3 no-hit innings for the victory at Washington and Lee University on April 5.
Freshman (2014): Played in nine games, making one start for the Marlins… Threw 3 2/3 innings against Tufts University on March 23… Struck out two against Rutgers-Newark and Averett University… Won his collegiate debut, an 8-5 victory over Rutgers-Newark on February 22.
