Senior (2017): Appeared in 34 games, making 31 starts as a senior… Spent the majority of the season behind the plate, with an occasional start at first base… Set a career high for hits when he went 5-for-5 with three runs and two RBI in an upset victory of No. 1 Shenandoah University on April 29… Homered against Ithaca and Emory & Henry… Posted a seven-game hitting streak from April 15 to April 29… Solid defensive catcher that threw out 9-of-26 potential base-stealers, good for a 34.6% caught stealing rate.
Junior (2016): Started in 31 games for the Marlins, spending the majority of his time behind the plate… Third on the team in RBI with 26 on the year… Also tied for second on the team with 10 doubles… Had a career-best 12 game hitting streak from March 3 to April 11… Threw out 12 would-be base-stealers, good for a 35.3% caught stealing mark.
Sophomore (2015): Appeared in 30 games as a sophomore… One of the top hitting catchers in the ODAC… Went 4-for-6 with three runs and a triple in a victory at Guilford College on March 8… Also tripled in the second game of the Guilford doubleheader… Drove in runs in three straight games twice during the season… Homered in the first game of the season at nationally-ranked Salisbury University… Posted four doubles, two runs scored, and four RBI in the ODAC tournament.
Freshman (2014): Recorded three hits and drove in a pair of runs in a 17-14 loss to Lynchburg College… Belted a pair of doubles in a 6-2 win over Lynchburg… Recorded a season-high 11 putouts in an 8-3 loss to Cortland State University… Compiled a .261 batting average.
Before VWC: Hit .394 as a senior, connecting for three home runs and 30 runs-batted-in… First team all-district honoree as a senior… Second team All-region II as a senior… Selected as Liberty's Most Valuable Player… Named Liberty's Male Athlete of the Year… Also competed in basketball, where he averaged 12 points and seven rebounds per game… Eagle Spirit Award winner.
