The Virginia Wesleyan men's cross country team had a strong showing at the CNU XC Invite on September 12.

Sophomore Casey Black led the Marlins with a 37th-place finish, clocking a time of 29:08.48. Senior Jerry Watson followed closely, taking 41st place in 29:25.94.

Rounding out the top three for Virginia Wesleyan was Ryan Koval, who finished 48th with a time of 29:56.54.
