The Virginia Wesleyan men's cross country team closed out its postseason slate with a strong group effort at the NCAA South Region Championships, highlighted by a pair of Marlins finishing just seconds apart at the front of the pack.

Casey Black, who crossed in 110th place with a time of 28:12.70, continuing his consistent late-season form.
