Women's Track and Field Competed in the Virginia Beach Spring Break Invitational Hosted by VWU

Ella Clingenpeel took first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:25.54, Salya Brown grabbed second with a time of 2:31.28, and Kayla Kozella was 17th with a time of 2:52.05.  

Salya Brown was second in the 1500-meter with a time of 5:11.61 and teammate Kayla Kozella was 13th with a time of 5:52.49. 

Denise Kamgaing was second in the discus with a mark of 38.93 meters Daryl Tucker was eighth with a throw of 30.52 meters and Corrine DeLawrence came in 18th with a throw of 19.43 meters. 

Daryl Tuckers finished third in the hammer throw with a throw of 40.71 meters, Denise Kamgaing was fourth with a mark of 38.16 meters, and Corinne DeLawrence was 17th with a throw of 21.68 meters. 

Norah Ciano was third in the high jump with a leap of 1.58 meters, and teammate Maria Plummer was sixth with a leap of 1.43 meters. 

Kennedy Chapman was third in the long jump with a mark of 4.94 meters, Julia Hathaway was fifth with a mark of 4.74 meters, and Anisha Carter was seventh with a mark of 4.54 meters. 

Jaiden Mitchell came in fourth in the javelin throw with a mark of 30.05 meters, Zantia Durand was sixth with a throw of 27.90 meters, Norah Ciano was seventh with a throw of 27.89 meters, Bailey Schottin was ninth with a mark of 19.29 meters, and Maria Plummer was tenth with a mark of 17.03 meters. 

Kennedy Chapman did well in the 100-meter with a time of 13.15 in the prelims and a time of 13.17 in the 100-meter final for a fifth-place finish. Anisha Carter was 13th with a time of 14.50.

Daryl Tucker led the team in the shot put with a fifth-place finish, with a mark of 10.51 meters, Denis Kamgaing was tenth with a throw of 9.72 meters, and Zantia Durand was 11th with a throw of 9.60 meters. 

Ashley Dickerson was third in the 100 hurdles with a sixth-place finish and a time of 20.35. 

Clarissa Thurston was fifth in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:19.55. 

Robin Remias came in 14th in the 200-meter with a time of 28.68.
