The Virginia Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team (3-5, 0-1 ODAC) lost to No. 15 Lynchburg 25-3.
Zack Tucker took the loss in the net as he played 15 minutes, allowed 10 goals, made six saves, and saw 16 shots. Lucas Parker, Sebastien Reynolds, and
Jackson Dinger each got a goal.
Lynchburg jumped out to a commanding 10-0 lead in the first quarter.
The Marlins' start to the second quarter looked promising with a goal from
Parker Lucas to start the quarter, but Lynchburg kept the pressure on Virginia Wesleyan, with the score at 15-1 by halftime.
In the third quarter, Lynchburg maintained its pace, as the Hornets stretched their lead further to 21-3, despite two goals from Sebastien Reynolds and
Jackson Dinger from Virginia Wesleyan.
The final quarter was more of the same, as Lynchburg added another four goals to finish the game with a 25-3 win.
