The Virginia Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team (5-8, 3-4 ODAC) was defeated by conference opponent Roanoke 25-3. 

Lucas Parker, Daniel Auxier, and Nick Owens each scored one goal for VWU. 

Aiden Freeland started in goal for the Marlins, he allowed 16 goals, and made 14 saves, in relief was Zack Tucker who allowed nine goals, and made 14 saves. 

Roanoke was hot early and took an 8-0 lead before Parker Lucas scored the Marlins' first goal. 

The Maroons went up 20-1 in the third quarter and Daniel Auxier scored an unassisted goal for the Marlins to bring the score to 20-2. 

In the fourth quarter, Nick Owens found the back of the net to score the Marlins third goal, but Roanoke went on to win the game 25-3.
