The Virginia Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team (2-4) was defeated by Stockton 16-4.

Helen Kennedy-Butler led the team with two goals, one assist, and caused one turnover, Gianna Delevan had one goal, and caused one turnover, and Breanna Gable tallied one assists, two ground balls, three caused turnovers, and two draw controls. 

The Ospreys scored the first three goals of the game, before Gabriella Watton scored for the Marlins with an assist from Helen Kennedy-Butler to bring the score to 3-1. Stockton scored two goals before the end of the quarter to increase the lead to 5-1. 

Gianna Delevan scored to start the second quarter with an assist from Daphne Myers to cut the lead to 5-2. Stockton scored one goal to lead 6-2, but Kennedy-Butler scored a free position shot to cut the score to 6-3. The Osprey scored three more goals before halftime to lead 9-3 at the break. 

Stockton outscored the Marlins 4-0 in the third quarter to lead 13-3. The Osprey scored three goals in the fourth quarter to lead 16-3, then Helen Kennedy-Butler scored a goal with an assist from Breanna Gable to bring the score to 16-4.
