The Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team (11-3-3, 6-2-1 ODAC) lost to the Generals of Washington and Lee 1-0.
Ben Haynes spent all 90 minutes in goal for the Marlins, tallying two saves and allowing in one goal.
The Marlins were aggressive in the first half with six corner kick opportunities compared to Washington and Lee's one; but neither team was able to finish in the net.
Washington and Lee scored the lone goal of the day in the 62nd minute of the game to secure the win over the Marlins.
The Marlins will finish regular season on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in a conference clash against Hampden-Sydney College.
