VWU lost their series against North Texas, 3-1. A strong start for the Marlins in game one saw them jump out to an early lead in the series. Game two was neck-and-neck but saw the Marlins lose in overtime. North Texas took that momentum and blew the Marlins out in game three before closing the series in a much closer game four.
