DANVILLE, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team dropped an 9-0 decision on the road to future ODAC opponent Averett University on Sunday afternoon.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
- VWU dropped all three doubles matches 8-3, 8-4, 8-7 (7-5) respectively with Sai Challagundla and Dheeraj Koritala taking Averett's No. 3 duo to a 7-5 tiebreaker.
- Felix Bevc went 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, while Mitchell Perry fell 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2.
- Timothy Tep, playing at No. 3 singles, went 6-4, 6-4, followed by Sai Challagundla at No. 4 singles who fell 6-1, 6-3.
- Dheeraj Koritala (L, 6-0, 6-1) and Camden Perry (L, 6-1, 6-1) rounded out VWU's lineup at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.
