HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team drew against the Royals of Eastern Mennonite University 1-1 on Saturday afternoon in Harrisonburg, VA.

FIRST HALF
- The Royals showed up early as they broke onto the scoreboard two minutes into the contest taking the 1-0 advantage.
- The two teams battled throughout the next 37 minutes before the Virginia Wesleyan evened the score up at one all following a goal from Jaron Berry in the 39th minute. The goal was Berry's first of the season and the assist came Aria Kimiavi (1st assist).
- Neither team scored the remaining six minutes of the opening half as the teams entered the break even at 1-1.
SECOND HALF
- The two squads battled back and forth throughout the second half with neither team finding another score.
- VWU got off 17 shots in the second half to EMU's 11.
