A native of Woodbridge, Virginia, I came to the Newport News area where I attended Christopher Newport University. While there I was a member of the Men's Club Volleyball team for two seasons where I played as an Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist. During my time there, I also competed on the Women's Varsity Soccer Team for two years, as a practice player.
After completing the Master's Program in the Art of Teaching at Christopher Newport University, I have been teaching for Hampton City Schools the past seven years as an English Language Teacher.
