Spring 2023:
Freshman and co-captain Jacob Swiggart played as the number one player from VWU in three tournaments this spring. Swiggart averaged 78 strokes per 18 holes. His highest place was tied for 2nd in the Marlins Invitational.

• March 31st - April 2nd the team played in the 50th Camp Lejeune Championship in Camp Lejeune, NC. At the top of the lineup, Swiggart shot 83 on the first day, 77 on the second, and 84 on the third. He totaled 244 strokes through 54 holes and tied for 79th place overall.
• March 20th - 21st the VWU team hosted the Marlins Invitational at Cypress Point Country Club, in Virginia Beach, VA. Swiggart played as the number one for the Marlins and shot 77 on the first day and 74 on the second. He totaled 151 strokes and tied for 2nd place overall.
• February 27th - 28th the team played in the Pfeiffer Invitational in Ocean Isle, NC. Swiggart, the top player in the lineup for VWU shot 76 on the first day and 78 on the second day. Swiggart took the lead for the Marlins, tying for 7th place totaling 154 strokes.

• November 18th - 19th: the team played in the NCWU Don Scalf Invitational in Rocky Mount, NC. Swiggart playing as the number 2 from VWU shot 79 on the first day and 72 on the second day. Totaling 151 strokes which tied him for 14th overall.

• On September 30th the team played in the Golden Oaks shootout in Fleetwood, PA. Swiggart shot 74 strokes tying him for 4th place overall. The tournament was cut short due to inclement weather and poor playing conditions.

• On October 17th and 18th, the team played in Suffolk, VA at The VSGA Intercollegiate Tournament. Swiggart shot 75 on the first day and 81 on the second totaling 156 strokes and tying him for 15th overall.

• The team traveled to Hampden-Sydney, VA October 22nd, and 23rd to play in the Hampden-Sydney Fall invite. Swiggart shot 82 on the first day and 82 on the second day totaling 164 strokes and placing 24th overall.
