Before VWU: Three-time all-conference and all-region in golf while at East Rockingham High School… Finished third in the state as a senior and fourth as a junior… Helped his team to a second place finish as a senior… Lettered all four years in golf and three years in tennis… Conference doubles champion as a senior in tennis… Board member of Diversity Club… Member of the DECA Club.

Personal: The son of Sheila and Reid Laughlin… Has a younger brother, Zac… Father, Reid, played football at Randolph-Macon.
