ODAC Player of the Week (December 8-14, 2014) 

Senior (2015-16): Started all 26 contests as the lone senior for the Marlins… Scored a career-high of 24 points in non-conference match up against Ferrum College November 22…  Had the second-most threes made in a season in the ODAC with 63… A versitle key player for the Marlins, pulling down 111 rebounds, tallying 50 assists, and 42 steals… Scored 19 points with a career-best nine rebounds in a two-point victory over Roanoke College in the ODAC First Round.

Junior (2014-15): Played in 26 games, starting two while serving as the key reserve off the bench… Three-point ace for the Marlins, connecting on 38 tries during the season… Had the third-most threes made in a game on February 7, knocking down six tries against Emory & Henry College… Topped 20 points twice, in home wins over Methodist University and Randolph-Macon College… Led VWC with 15 points in a two-point victory over Lynchburg College in the ODAC Championship.

Sophomore (2013-14): Played in 27 games, making seven starts on the year… Hit 54 three-pointers on the season, averaging two makes per game… Attempted 71% of her shots from beyond the arc… Averaged 21.0 points per game for the first three games of the season, including a 24-point effort against Salisbury University on November 19… Scored in double-figures in eight of the season’s first nine games.

Freshman (2012-13): Connected on 6-of-10 field goal attempts, including a season-high 6-of-9 triples, to score a season-high 18 points in a 60-47 win over Shenandoah University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament play… Pulled down a season-high six rebounds in an 82-60 win over Randolph-Macon College… Other season highs: two assists six times during the season, two steals five times, and one block four times.

Academic Accomplishments: Presidential Scholarship recipient… Posted a 4.00 GPA in Winter '14.

Before VWC: Competed in basketball, field hockey, and softball at Mt. Hebron… Started varsity all four years in basketball… Averaged 12.3 points per game as a senior, 10.7 as a junior, 8.8 as a sophomore, and 6.7 as a rookie… Has scored over 1,000 career points… Ranked No. 1 in Howard County in three-point shots made with 49 at a senior, No. 1 in steals with 114, and No. 3 in assists with 82… Career three-pointers made: 123… Named Most Valuable Player in basketball, field hockey, and softball as a senior… 2012 Mt. Hebron Athlete of the Year… Inducted into the Mt. Hebron High School Hall of Fame… Two-time MVP in basketball, two-time All-Howard County honoree… First team All-Howard County, second team All-Metro, honorable mention All-Maryland as a senior in field hockey… Helped guide Mt. Hebron to the 3A state championship game… Second team All-Howard County in softball as a senior.

  • If I could spend one day with a famous person from any time period it would be: "Derrick Rose, because he is an unbelievable athlete who doesn't boast about his accomplishments.  He seems down to earth and is an all-around nice guy."
  • If I could participate in a reality show it would be: "Wipe Out. I think this show is hilarious and looks like fun.  I'd like to be on the show and try the obstacle course."
  • It's the year 2025 and: "I'm married, have children, and I'm a basketball coach and personal trainer."
  • The most important advice I've received is: "give 110% all the time, no matter what you are doing, and never give up"
