Spring 2023: 
Freshmen Steven Harper played in the first four spring tournaments. He played as the number four in two and the number five in two. He totaled 84 strokes per 18 holes. His highest-place finish was tied for 19th overall in the Marlins Invitational.

• April 11th the team traveled to Elizabethton, TN to play in the Mountain Empire Intercollegiate. Harper, the #4 for VWU shot 93 in the first round and 81 in the second. He totaled 174 strokes through 36 holes and placed 58th overall.
• March 31st - April 2nd the team played in the 50th Camp Lejeune Championship in Camp Lejeune, NC. Harper, the 5th player in the VWU lineup shot 83 on the first day, 81 on the second, and 80 on the third. He totaled 244 strokes through 54 holes and tied for 79th place overall.
• March 20th - 21st the VWU team hosted the Marlins Invitational at Cypress Point Country Club, in Virginia Beach, VA. Harper played as the number four for the Marlins and shot 83 on the first day and 82 on the second day. He totaled 165 strokes and tied for 19th overall.
• February 27th - 28th the team played in the Pfeiffer Invitational in Ocean Isle, NC. Harper, the fifth player in the lineup for VWU shot 78 on the first day and 91 on the second day. Harper shot 169 strokes and tied for 57th overall.
