The Virginia Wesleyan University men's golf team wrapped up competition at the 2026 ODAC Championship with a 10th-place finish, posting a three-round total of 959 (326-321-312).
Leading the way was junior standout Brayden Tritsch, who delivered one of the most impressive individual performances of the event. Tritsch finished tied for sixth overall with a 229 (+13), highlighted by an outstanding opening round of 71 (-1). His under-par start immediately positioned him among the tournament's top contenders and set the tone for his week.
While Tritsch faced adversity in round two with an 82 (+10), he bounced back admirably in the final round. Showing resilience and composure, he carded a 76 (+4) to secure his place inside the top 10.
Andrew Hartley was the next Marlin on the leaderboard, finishing tied for 38th with a 244 (+28). After opening with an 86 (+14), Hartley rebounded with a solid 77 (+5) in round two before closing with an 81 (+9).
James Brooks followed closely behind in a tie for 41st at 245 (+29). Brooks improved in the second round with a 79 (+7) after an opening 84 (+12), but an 82 (+10) in the final round kept him just outside the top 40.
Lleyton McCulloch placed tied for 43rd with a 246 (+30). He showed gradual improvement as the tournament progressed, finishing with his best round, a 78 (+6), on the final day. After earlier scores of 85 (+13) and 83 (+11).
Rounding out the lineup was Brady King, who finished 50th at 250 (+34). King struggled early with rounds of 87 (+15) and 86 (+14), but like several of his teammates, he closed strong with a 77 (+5) in the final round.
