The Marlins showed improvement from round one to round two, shaving four strokes off their team score to close the tournament on a high note. That second-round push proved critical in securing a podium finish.
Individually, James Brooks led the way for Virginia Wesleyan, carding rounds of 79 and 73 for a 152 total to finish tied for ninth. His second-round 73 was one of the better scores in the field and helped spark the Marlins' surge up the leaderboard.
Brayden Tritsch followed closely behind, placing tied for 15th with a 153 (77–76). His consistency across both rounds provided a steady presence in the lineup.
Lleyton McCulloch finished tied for 21st with a 156 (77–79), while Brady King came in tied for 25th after posting a 157 (76–81). Grady Logan rounded out the Marlins' competitors, finishing tied for 32nd with a 159 (82–77), highlighted by a strong bounce-back effort in round two.
