The Virginia Wesleyan University softball program's head coach Brandon Elliott was Named VaSID Coach of the Year, and  Emma Adams, Karley Beltran, Olivia Knight, and Alison Pollack were named VaSID First Team All-State, and Mackenzie Myers received VaSID Second Team All-State laurels. 

Emma Adams has had a stellar 2024 season, was named the Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA Regional Tournament, ODAC Pitcher of the Year, and NFCA First Team All-Region.  During the 2024 season, she had the best record in the conference at 13-0, the lowest ERA at 0.93, allowed the least amount of hits and runs, and held opponents to a .179 batting average, the best in the ODAC. 

Karley Beltran this season has put together an impressive resume at shortstop being named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region, she leads the team with 48 hits, a .345 batting average, nine doubles, 23 RBI, and led the team with 35 stolen bases. 

Alison Pollack is the heart of the Marlins lineup and last week was named to the All-Tournament Team in the NCAA Regional Tournament and First Team All-Region by the NFCA. She's started 32 games, put up a .410 batting average, 39 hits, 10 doubles, two triples, and three home runs, registered 32 RBI, and leads the team with a .667 slugging percentage. 

Olivia Knight has been an instrumental part of the Marlins lineup behind the plate this season was selected to Second Team All-Conference and Third Team All-Region award by the NFCA, she is second on the team in batting average at .367, had 40 hits, 11 doubles, and four triples, and leads the team in RBI with 39, and has a .541 slugging percentage. 

Mackenzie Myers has had a breakout 2024 season at third base earning her a selection to the All-Tournament Team in the NCAA Regional Tournament, First Team All-Conference, and First Team All-Region. She leads the team with a .406 batting average, and a .584 slugging percentage, accumulated 41 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, and one homer, along with 33 RBI, and has stolen 18 bases.
