Women's tennis team (1-1) traveled to Lexington, VA. Competing for the Marlins was a mixed squad of four freshman and three seniors. The Marlins lost 0-9.

The first doubles team to finish their match was Sophia Bibbo Haley Haydon, who lost their match 0-8.

The second doubles team was composed of Sophie Engelberts and Tuva Flink who fought hard but ultimately lost their game 0-8.

In the last doubles game, Mikisha Thomas and Shannon Lewes lost their match 0-8.

The Marlins also played six singles matches as well.

Tuva Flink lost her singles match for the Marlins with the scores 2-6, 0-6.

Sophie Engelberts lost her match with scores of 0-6, 1-6.

Mikisha Thomas lost her match with the scores 1-6, 0-6.

Haley Haydon lost her match 0-6, 0-6.

Shannon Lewes lost her match 0-6, 6-3.

Lastly, Sophia Bibbo lost her match with scores 0-6, 0-6.

The Marlins are now 1-1 in ODAC conference play and will face off against Earlham College tomorrow, Oct. 1st at 9:30am.
