Field Hockey Lose to Lynchburg

The Virginia Wesleyan University field hockey team (3-7 0-2 ODAC) lost to the University of Lynchburg 8-0.

The Hornets were strong scoring three times in the first quarter and three again in the second quarter to take a 6-0 lead into halftime.

The Marlins played better after half time adjustments as VWU recorded three shots and three corners in the second half.

Lynchburg scored two goals in the second half to seal the 8-0 win.
