The Virginia Wesleyan University field hockey team (6-11, 2-6 ODAC) fell to Randolph-Macon 3-0.

The Yellow Jackets opened up the scoring in the 9th minute of play with a goal off a penalty corner,

 Randolph-Macon scored again in the second quarter to go up 2-0 and scored their second goal of the quarter in the 22nd minute to take a 3-0 lead. 

The Marlins defense tightened up in the second half and the Marlins were able to put three shots on goal in the second half in hopes of sparking a comeback.

Emma Wehr played all 60 minutes in net, tallied three saves, and allowed three goals.
