Randolph lead Virginia Wesleyan from the beginning of the contest as the WildCats started things off with a three-pointer 31 seconds into the action. The Marlins pulled within three points, 7-4 (6:36), but the WildCats pushed ahead taking an 18-point lead, 28-10, into the second quarter.
The Marlins added 15 points to their tally in the second quarter with four points coming from
Jada Norman, eight from
Adaje Williams, and three from
Nat Collier. The WildCats added 21 points to their total as the teams headed into the halftime break with the score sitting at 49-25.
Virginia Wesleyan was held to just nine points in the third quarter as Randolph opened a 30-point lead over VWU. At the end of thirty minutes of action, RC led 71-34.
The Marlins added another 15 points to their total but the WildCats lead was too great to overcome as Randolph claimed the win with a final score of 84-49.

The Marlins were led by
Adaje Williams with a career-high tying 23 points to go along with 11 rebounds while
Nat Collier added nine points of her own.
Celeste Rucker added eight points and
Jada Norman seven.
RANDOLPH LEADERS
The WildCats were led by Cierra Cook with 24 points. Teniyah Crewnshaw-Patterson added 15 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. Kylie Stark and Alana Melendez rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11 and 10 points respectively.
