Newport News, Virginia- The Virginia Wesleyan women's tennis team wrapped up their 2021 regular season with a 9-0 loss to Christopher Newport University who is currently ranked #6 in the South Atlantic region.

• At #1 doubles, Audrey Bally and Alexa Brewster fell 8-4 to the region's #6 doubles team of Trate and Yermal.
• At #2 doubles, Christine Zalameda and Shannon Lewes dropped their proset 8-3.
• Alexa Brewster played a long first set against the regions #6 singles player, Reagan Delp, but dropped the match 6-3, 6-0.
• Senior Audrey Bally fell 6-2, 6-3 at #3 singles.
• Shannon Lewes and Sophia Bibbo each fell 6-1, 6-1 at #4 and #5 singles respectively.
