HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's soccer team defeated the Wasps of Emory and Henry College on Sunday afternoon in a neutral site game at Hellmuth-Gibson Field in Hampden-Sydney, VA.

FIRST HALF
- The Marlins found the scoreboard first in the 23rd minute of action as Kevin Prophet scored off the pass from Andrew Glass.
- Twenty minutes later, VWU added a second goal as Darwin Salguero connected with the back of the net giving the Marlins a 2-0 advantage heading into halftime.
SECOND HALF
- Virginia Wesleyan increased its lead to three as Noah McBride scored off a pass from Alexander Moody two minutes into the return to action.
- The Marlins added their fourth and final goal in the 62nd minute as Scott Signorelli scored off another well placed pass from Moody.
