SALISBURY, Maryland - Colton Spence led the Virginia Wesleyan University men's cross country team at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD.

INSIDE THE RACE
Colton Spence was the first Marlin of the day to cross the finish line coming in 36th overall with a time of 28:58.20. James Johnson finished three spots later in 39th in a time of 29:22.00. Trey Massey and Landon Crooks rounded out the Marlins team with finishes of 66th and 77th respectively. Massey ran a time of 32:04.20 and Crooks a 33:16.50 mark.

The Marlins return to the course again on October 15th, when they travel to Salem, VA., to compete at the Maroon/Highlander Invitational hosted by Roanoke College and Radford University.
