Sito Arroyo joined the Virginia Wesleyan Athletic Department as the assistant men's and women's swim coach in September 2020.

During the 2021-22 season Arroyo helped the Marlins men's swim team to a seventh place finish while the women finished sixth. First-year Lauren Hendricks garnered third-team All-ODAC accolades after finishing 6th place finish in the 200 Freestyle at the ODAC Championship meet. In addition 11 men's and 17 women's school records fell under Arroyo's guidance.

Prior to coming to VWU, Arroyo was a high school and club team swim coach in the Charlottesville area of Virginia. He served as the assistant coach of three teams, the Virginia Gators Club team, the Lake Monticello Swim Team, and the Monticello High School swim team, over the last decade and in 2019 he took over as the head coach of the Lake Monticello Swim Team. While working with these three programs, Arroyo helped compile practice procedures and instructions for swimmers used to teach the proper instruction of the four strokes.

Arroyo is no stranger to the ODAC as he competed collegiately at Randolph-Macon College from 2012-2016. The former Yellow Jacket competed in nearly every event including the 200 free, 500 free, 1000 free, 100 and 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay, and the 200 and 400 IM.

Arroyo attended Fork Union Military Academy where he earned four varsity letters in swimming. He helped lead his team to a Conference Championship title in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Arroyo aided the Blue Devils to the State Championship three times claiming the State Championship in 2010 and 2011 while coming in second in 2009. He was awarded Most Improved in 2010, All Prep twice and All State in 2012.
