- "I made Virginia Wesleyan my top choice because of its location and size, the campus community, academics, and soccer program. The distance from home was perfect for me and having lived and spent so much time in Southern Virginia, as well as North Carolina, having that "southern hospitality" was very important to me. You can noticeably see it when you step on campus. The small class sizes was another factor that I liked and the fact that all students here are undergraduates."
- Selected VWC over Washington College (Md.), Susquehanna University, Salisbury University and Messiah College

- My favorite aspect of being an athlete is: "the camaraderie between teammates on and off the field. The relationships you form are priceless and have the potential to last a lifetime. That's one of the reasons why I love playing a sport and begin an athlete because it brings me closer to people who have similar passions as I do"
- The part of my game I've improved the most is: "two areas, my overall fitness and confidence on the ball. My senior year in high school I managed to increase my goal tally significantly because of how much more comfortable I was on the ball. Also, leading up to this fall, I've managed to drop time on my mile and improve stamina slightly with the running I did over the off season"

- If I could spend a day with a famous person from any time period it would be: "probably either Jack Johnson or Ryan Griggs. Jack Johnson because he is one of my favorite music artists and he lives in Hawaii, so we'd definitely just hangout all day on the beach, listen to music, and talk. Ryan Griggs because he is another one of my favorite athletes. I'd love for Griggs to give me a private tour of Old Trafford and show me around Manchester"
