Biography

Fall 2022: Senior Ryan Christie played in all four of the fall tournaments. Averaging 84 strokes per round of 18 holes of golf this fall.

  • November 18th - 19th: the team played in the NCWU Don Scalf Invitational in Rocky Mount, NC. Christie playing as the number 4 from VWU shot 80 on the first day and 81 on the second day. Totaling 161 strokes tying him for 33rd place overall.

  • On September 30th the team played in the Golden Oaks shootout in Fleetwood, PA. Christie played as the number 5 on the VWU team and shot 84 strokes tying him for 42nd place overall. The tournament was cut short due to inclement weather and poor playing conditions.

  • On October 17th and 18th, the team played in Suffolk, VA at VSGA intercollegiate tournament. Christie playing as the number 4 from VWU shot 92 on the first day and 80 on the second day totaling 172 strokes placing 50th overall.

  • The team traveled to Hampden-Sydney, VA October 22nd, and 23rd to play in the Hampden-Sydney Fall invite. Christie played as the number 3 on the VWU team. He shot 88 on the first day and 83 on the second day totaling 171 strokes and placing 30th overall.


2021-22: Appeared in five tournament playing 12 rounds for the Marlins ... Averaged a score of 86.58 ... Recorded his lowest score of 74 on the second day of the Camp Lejeune Invitational, with his next lowest scores of 80 and 83 coming on days one and three respectively ...
