FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced its annual academic team and 131 Virginia Wesleyan student-athletes across nearly every athletic program were recognized.
SALEM, Va. – The #4 Virginia Wesleyan University men’s basketball fell to fifth-seeded Washington and Lee, 77-69, Thursday evening in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) quarterfinals played at the Salem Civic Center. With the loss, the Marlins’ season concludes, ending with a record of 13-13.
FOREST, Va. – Two members of the Virginia Wesleyan University men’s basketball team were named to the All-Conference Teams by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). Lamont Steward earned a spot on the Second Team while Tim Fisher collected Third Team honors.
FERRUM, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University held on to earn a 77-75 victory over Ferrum Saturday afternoon on the road. With the win, the Marlins improve to 13-12 on the season and move to 11-5 in ODAC play. The win also secures the teams spot in the top six of the ODAC standings and the team will have to wait for other conference games to conclude to figure out what their seed in the ODAC Championship will be.
