- “I chose Virginia Wesleyan because I loved the location. The southeastern Virginia area has always been my favorite place! I also have the opportunity to play field hockey for VWC, and I think that the small size is a perfect fit for me. I love the feel of the campus in general!”
- Selected VWC over Old Dominion University, Mary Baldwin College, and Sweet Briar College.

- Favorites include the book series “Warriors”, the “Harry Potter” and “Charlie Bone” series, the TV shows “Castle”, “To The Beautiful You”, and any Korean Drama
- Self-description in 10 words or less: "always realistically looking on the bright side; loving and loyal”
- My favorite aspect of being an athlete is: "I love the team support that comes with being an athlete! We are out there on the field, day after day, but being together with your team gives you strength to keep doing your best and gives you competition to keep improving. Being an athlete on a team is the best because it is like having a bunch of crazy awesome sisters who are on your side!
- If you could spend one day with a famous person from any time period, who would it be and why? “Her name is Amber Liu. She is a singer/rapper in a Korean band named F(x). I would choose her to spend a day with because she has inspired me so much! Teenage years are the time when you're beginning to try and understand who you are and who you want to become. Amber is someone who is very much her own person; short hair, doesn't wear heels, and is a tomboy so-to-speak. As a celebrity, she has had to face many people who have said that she won't do well or that she's not feminine enough, but she has pushed through and I admire her strength and courage so much. Amber is also extraordinarily talented! She speaks English, Korean, Chinese, and is likely learning more languages, and also acts, sings, dances, raps, and manages to be humble at the same time. A day with her would be like a day with your best friend because Amber is so down to Earth and absolutely hilarious.”
- People might be surprised to know this about me... “I love Asia- specifically South Korea. Asian culture is so interesting to me, I love their languages because the sound is so fascinatingly beautiful, and their pop culture is so fun! I'm always listening to Korean pop music and watching their dramas and TV shows. I also want to study martial arts that originate in South Korea.”
- It’s the year 2030 and I am…“filming my new movie or TV show and/or traveling the world.”
