Before VWC: Competed in track and field as well as cheerleading… Earned the MVP award in track and field in 2011 as well as All-District and All-Region accolades that season… Track and field team captain in 2012… Honor roll throughout high school… Member of the Drama Club/Team, Ruriteens, James Farmer Scholars, Academic Team and New Anchor in addition to being the manager of the wrestling team.

Personal: Daughter of Patricia Peyton and James Reed... Has two brothers, Terrance Newman and James “Josh” Reed… Music minor.

• What is your favorite aspect of being an athlete?: “being able to see growth in whatever I do”
• It’s the year 2030 and I am doing this…: “I will be married with three kids and hopefully at the peak of my career as the CFO of a Fortune 500 company or partner at a brokerage firm.”
