Personal: Eddie earned the marlin spirit award and the men's team most improved award in the 2021-2022 season. He is a part of the record holding relay team for the 800 freestyle relay. As well as a member of the Batten Honors College at Virginia Wesleyan.

In high school he earned the Grizzly Medallion of Distinction and was on the VHSL Honor Roll.
