Before VWU: Competed in track and field as well as cheerleading in high school… Finished third at the outdoor track and field regionals and second at indoor track and field regionals… Her cheerleading team placed third in regional competition… Member of the National Honor Society… National Youth Leadership Forum nominee… Played recreation basketball and soccer.

Personal: Daughter of Yvonne Fye and Ronald Swanston… Has five siblings: Otis, Jovan, Jerrica, Ronny, and Letrica… Biology minor.
