INDIVIDUAL ACCOLADES

  • 2016-17 ODAC All-Academic Team
  • ODAC All-Academic Team (2017-18)

Sophomore (2016-17): Went 2-10 in singles action and 2-11 in doubles play… Won her lone ODAC match 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5 at Guilford College on April 28… Won two of her first three doubles matches of the year with partner Jacklyn Cheely at No. 3.

Freshman (2015-16): Appeared in five singles and eight doubles matches on the year… Defeated Shenandoah University on April 23 in a 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory… Teamed with Jacklyn Cheely for an 8-2 victory over Randolph College on April 3.

Before VWU: Played field hockey and tennis throughout high school... All-Conference selection for field hockey junior and senior year... Also a member of jazz band and student director of choir.

Personal: Daughter of Cindy Horgan and Steve Horgan
