Biography

2022: Started all 20 games for the Marlins... Played 1820 minutes, allowed 24 goals for a 1.19 GAA, Made 116 saves, and posted a 12-4-4 record with seven shutouts... Named First-Team All-Conference, First-Team VaSID All-State Accolades, and Earned USC All-Region laurels. 

2021-22: Has started in all 19 games during the regular season. He finished the season first in the ODAC in both saves (132) and save percentage (.880). He recorded a 0.90 goals-against average in 1794:31 of game time between the posts. Griffin was named ODAC player of the week on October 4th, 2021. Helped the Marlin defense record 10 shutout wins or ties on the season including eight in a row which matches the program record... Named Third-Team All-American, First-Team All-Region by USC, voted VaSID Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-State, and First-Team All-Conference by the ODAC. 

2020-21: Started seven of eight matches in goal for the Marlins ... Played 639:56 minutes between the pipes ... Of the 99 shots faces, allowed just 13 goals while making 39 saves ... Tallied a 1-4-2 record in net.

2019-20: Started all 18 matches in goal for the Marlins totaling 1618:49 minutes between the pipes ... Gave up just 26 goals while making 82 saves en route to a 4-9 record in net ... Faced 179 opponents shots ...

2018-19: Appeared in 13 games and started 13 games as the goalkeeper for the Marlins... Had 63 saves and had one shutout against Hampden-Sydney on September 19.
