The Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team did great this weekend, earning them a sweep of the Week 3 ODAC Players of the Week.

Platts, a junior from Bath, England, went 2-0 in singles play at the 2025 CNU Duals hosted by Christopher Newport University over the weekend. Platts got his first win on day one, posting a 6-1, 6-3 victory over CNU's Jamison Wallace. On day two, Platts had a bit of a tougher go against Eli Campbell from the University of Mary Washington, but the Marlins standout still earned a straight sets win, 7-5, 6-3.

Muller, a junior from Oxford, England, and Platts, a junior from Beth, England, teamed up for a pair of matches at the 2025 CNU Duals hosted by Christopher Newport University to open Virginia Wesleyan's season over the weekend. Muller and Platts went 2-0, picking up a pair of 6-4 victories. On day one, they downed CNU's duo of Jamison Wallace and Ivan Ceric. On day two, Muller and Platts defeated the tandem of Ryan Gipner and Cooper Lehman from the University of Mary Washington.
