The Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team (9-4, 2-1 ODAC) falls to W&L 6-3 in conference play.
The No. 1 doubles of Ole Behrmann and Felix Bevc won 8-6 and in the No. 2 doubles spot the brother partner of Carlos and Rafael Rullan Zarraga won their match 8-5 to give the Marlins a 2-0 lead. Sebastien Muller and Tudor Vlad lost 8-5 in the No. 3 doubles to bring the score to 2-1.
In the No. 3 singles match, Ole Behrmann finished his match first, losing 1-6, 4-6 to tie the score at 2-2. Tudor Vlad fell 1-6, 1-6 in the No. 4 singles and Alen Curovic lost 3-6, 3-6 in the No. 6 spot to give W&L a 4-2 lead.
Sebastien Muller was the next match to finish his match in the No. 5 spot and lost 6-7 and 5-7 to seal the win for the host at 5-2. Rafael Rullan Zarraga fought hard in the No. 2 singles match losing 4-6 and 5-7.
Felix Bevc had a hard-fought match as he lost set one 6-7 and came back to win 7-6 in set two and 1-0 in set three to bring the score to 6-3.
