No. 41 Men's Tennis Fought Hard Against No. 21 Mary Washington in 7-2 Defeat

The No. 41 Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team (14-5, 7-1 ODAC) was defeated by No. 21 Mary Washington 7-2. 

In doubles play the No. 1 duo of Rishi Charan Shankar and Peter Leese secured a strong 8-3 victory against Ole Behrmann and Tudor Vlad.

Virginia Wesleyan fought back in the No. 2 doubles match as Rafael Rullan Zarraga and Hubert Parawa won 8-6 against Albert Vladimirskiy and Jack Riordan.

Sebastien Muller and Hovo Madanyan narrowly edged out Evan Fisher and Trevor Rein from Mary Washington in the No. 3 doubles match with a score of 8-7.

Rishi Charan Shankar continued his winning streak for Mary Washington, defeating Ole Behrmann in the No. 1 singles match with a score of 6-4, 6-3.

Peter Leese beat Hubert Parawa 6-2, 6-4 in the No. 4 singles match. 

Brock Ladehoff from Mary Washington delivered a strong performance in the No. 3 spot, defeating Tudor Vlad with a score of 6-4, 6-2.

Albert Vladimirskiy defeated Francis Cabaddu in the No. 6 match with a score of 6-2, 6-4. Rafael Rullan Zarraga fought hard in a three-set thriller losing 4-6, 7-5, 1-0. 

Sebastien Muller lost to Trevor Rein from Mary Washington, 6-7, 6-3, 6-3.
