The Virginia Wesleyan University track & field team has two athletes who qualified for the 2024 Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet on Friday, March 8 through Saturday, March 9 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

Natashe Tate has quite literally exploded onto the scene. As a first-year, she has broken the school record in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Tate qualified for the 60-meter dash with the tenth-best time in the nation of 7.64. She broke the school record in the 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 25.43. 

Isaiah Bullock has had a great season competing in five events; 200M, 400M, High Jump, Long Jump, and Triple Jump. Bullock qualified for nationals in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 14.48 meters that he posted at the ODAC Indoor Track & Field Championship.
