The Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team (4-2) defeated Division II opponent Chowan 5-4. 

In doubles, Chowan won the first match against Rafael Rullan Zarraga and Ole Behrmann 6-1 and in the second match Tudor Vlad and Alen Curovic lost 6-0 to Chowan, and Sebastien Muller and Hovo Madanyan won by forfeit to give the Marlins a point. 

Chowan forfeited the sixth singles match to give the Marlins two points. 

The first singles match was exciting as Rafael Rullan Zarraga lost to Marcel Ungerboeck 7-6 and 6-4. 

Francis Cabaddu took down Alvaro Juscamaita in the fifth singles match 6-3, 6-2. 

Ole Behrmann won the second singles match as he defeated Nikola Cvetanovic in extra sets. Winning the first set 6-4, dropping set two 6-3, and winning the third set 6-3 to seal the win for the Marlins. 

Sebastien Muller fell to Cristobal Fuentes 6-1, 6-2 in the third singles match, and Alen Curovic lost to Gabriel Gomes 6-0, but managed to scored three points in the second game at 6-3.
