Virginia Wesleyan Athletics Unveils Text Message Score Updates

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The Virginia Wesleyan College athletic department has announced the introduction of text message score updates for each of our athletic contests.

Fans will be able to go to the Virginia Wesleyan athletics page and sign up for text updates by entering their mobile number and phone carrier. This is done in a similar way to the email updates that were introduced earlier in the fall.

Both text message alerts and email updates can both be found on the page listed below. Text alerts is the quickest way for fans, parents, students and media members to get scores following events. The email updates are sent out nightly when games occur and include the press releases from each contest.

Fans have the option to sign up for text and email alerts for all sports, or select specific sports that they would be interested in to tailor the focus directly to the individual. Message rates still apply based on your carrier for text messages received.
