Volleyball Opens Up NCAAs Against Juniata in Newport News, Va.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University volleyball team will be heading to nearby Newport News, Va. for the 2019 NCAA Championship Tournament. The Marlins (seeded fifth) have drawn Juniata College (seeded fourth) in the opening round match which will be played at 12:30 p.m. on Friday on the campus of Christopher Newport University.

The Marlins and Eagles will be joined in the top half of the bracket by top-seeded Trinity University (TX) and #8 CUNYAC winners Hunter College. The winner of those two matches will play each other at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

In the bottom half of the bracket, #3 Randolph-Macon will square off against #6 Marymount while host, and second seed, Christopher Newport takes on #7 Stevenson University.

The Regional Final will be played at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
