RICHMOND Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University women's swim team competed in the final day of the Yellow Jacket Invite on Saturday which was swam at SwimRVA. The team finished 11th with 161.5 team points.
In session three, the Marlins came away with two more school records on the individual side. Chloe Dewberry continued her impressive first year as she dropped 13 seconds off the previous record with a time of 2:22.55.
Lizzy Ross also got in on the action as she set the new precedent in the 100yd freestyle. The freshman clocked a 57.18, which was nearly one second faster than the time she posted at the Lynchburg Quad a couple weeks ago.
Women's swimming will return to action again at 1 p.m. on Saturday as the team travels south for a dual meet with Greensboro.
