ASHLAND, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University women's golf team finished up its final round of the Randolph-Macon Fall Invitational Sunday afternoon played at Hannover Country Club.
Maggie Kingora turned out the squad's low score as she placed 12th with a two-round score of 177 (+35). The senior shot a 90 on day one of the Invite before shaving off three strokes and moving up two places in the standings.
Not far behind her was Ashlee Bobzin, who placed 20th as she ended the tournament with a 184 (+42). She was able to move up the charts as she improved her day one score of 94 to a 90 on day two.
Women's golf returns to action again on Oct. 9th as the team hosts the Marlin Invite at Cypress Point Country Club.
