Kingora Finishes Strong at Shenandoah Invitational

FRONT ROYAL, Va. – Virginia Wesleyan women's golf sophomore Maggie Kingora finished strong at the Shenandoah Invitational, carding a second-round 83 (+18) to finish in third place.

Kingora sat in third place following the first round as well when she shot a 79 (+7). The top three places stayed the same from rounds one to two as Christina Herbert of Bridgewater College won the event with a two-day, even-par 144. CNU's Erica Whitehouse took second place with a 156 (+12).

Hannah Turner finished in 15th position after shooting a two-day 175 (+31). She improved seven strokes from round one to round two, carding an 84 (+12) in the second round.

Virginia Wesleyan travels to the Bridgewater Invitational on September 23-24.
